Robyn has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle. Skilled in working with a wide variety of relationships, Robyn has over two decades of experience working with children and families in various systems and settings and is trained to provide Family Preservation Services and Crisis Family Intervention.
We all struggle with life circumstances and difficult relationships. Robyn’s primary goal is to support and assist families and individuals to improve their connections and explore attachment, to provide feedback to help resolve current problems and to promote change and disrupt unhelpful patterns of communication.
Robyn utilizes an integrative, collaborative approach to therapy with an emphasis on communication and the view that connection is central to change. She believes in encompassing all aspects of an individual and a family structure when developing treatment plans and solutions with clients. Feeling privileged to witness the change that occurs with an individuals’ commitment to self and other, Robyn views problems and solutions within a systems perspective, honoring clients' cultural, community, interpersonal dynamics, environmental factors, strengths, and resiliency.
